Two months after our wedding, we embarked on our once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon to Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Cambodia. For a whole month we traveled together, missing trains, learning Japanese phrases, watching sunrises, inhaling delicious foods, embracing family and friends, and taking pictures. So. Many. Pictures.
I challenged myself to only shoot film the entire trip as a way to see and think differently – to slow down and make more meaningful compositions and choices. It was a great way to refresh and reset at the end of my busy wedding season. I’m so excited for the new year and thankful for the new perspectives gained.
Looking back at 2018, our honeymoon month mirrored the year in many ways: we laughed, we cried, we snacked, and before we knew it, it was all over.
